BEDFORD, Conn.
(AP) — A man who died after a crash that left two other pedestrians injured has been remembered in a funeral service.
The funeral was held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Friday, and the Rev. James M. Taylor officiated.
A family member of the man who was killed told the Rev., “You’ve changed my life forever.
You’re the one I would give to go to the next day.”
The funeral was attended by family members of the other pedestrians who were taken to hospitals.
The crash occurred in a crosswalk on the South Shore in Bedford, just east of the White House, about 2 p.m.
Saturday.
The victim was driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck and was struck by a white Chevrolet Camaro SUV, police said.
Two pedestrians were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Camaro was also taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital with non life-threatening injury.
The victims, ages 35 and 46, were taken in stable condition to local hospitals.
