A father has donated $3,000 to honor his wife with gifts and pets.
The family of a Florida man named Tim Kowalski is trying to raise $10,000 for his wife and two daughters.
Kowalskis brother, Michael Kowalas, said they are hoping to raise money to pay for toys for the children and other gifts for the family.
He said the gift is for a pet memorial gift.
“She is going to be a great mother and it’s not going to take a lot of money to make that happen,” he said.
Tim Kowelski has had three sons.
He was diagnosed with cancer in January 2016 and has had four surgeries.
He has since been put into a medically induced coma.
“We had the hardest thing we’ve ever had, we were struggling to do anything.
We have to take every day and we have to fight the battle,” Kowolas said.
Michael Kowallas said he plans to donate to the charity “Veterans for Animals” as well as to a hospice.
He said the family has been trying to reach out to help and is not sure if the gift will go toward paying for the pets.
“It’s a little bit tough to say because it’s a family thing and I don’t want to say anything too negative about the dogs, I dont want to be insensitive to anyone,” he added.
Michael said he hopes the family will get the money to help them keep their dog, Rhett, as a member of their family.
“I know that they will be able to take care of Rhett,” he noted.KOWALAS: A husband, father, grandfather, father and friend who was diagnosed and is still fighting cancer.
We love them all and I want them to know how much we love them and how much our hearts go out to them.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Kowaldski; his two children, Rachael Kowalshaw; and his father, James Kowas.
